Amazing in the green mile

Just watched that movie again and it's one of the best performances of any actor so decided to look up his other work and unfortunately he hasn't had many serious roles, its a shame as he certainly had talent.

Maybe it's because he's so big, the big white fella with grey hair (can't remember his name) from the green mile is also a great actor with limited roles. Maybe it's hard to get good gigs when your 6,4 plus.

"The Green Mile" is one of those films I can only watch every few years. Since we lost him, I've only been able to watch it once. He was incredible. I'm assuming you don't count his role in "Daredevil" to be a serious one, but he was fantastic as Kingpin. Being a fan of "Stargate SG-1", I think he'd have made a great Jaffa, too. However, I must agree with you that he should have been given many more roles with true, believable depth like that of John Coffy.

Wonder why aliens don't contact us? Watch American Heroes Channel for 15 minutes.

I agree, gone to soon. Are you thinking of David Morse ? The other actor ? Also talented.

It's on IFC right now he's amazing in it...

I totally agree. He should have won the Oscar for best supporting
actor!
