Did Veganism kill him?


I find it quite odd that Michael Clarke Duncan, such a seemingly strong and healthy man, died so suddenly, and shortly after becoming a Vegan. Such a radical change in diet can no doubt have drastic effects on your body, and it's no secret that Vegans often lack many key nutrients like Omega 3. I really think becoming a Vegan is maybe what killed him.

You answer your question yourself. If a vegan diet increases the risk for a heart attack (for which to believe I'd need a lot more than one dubious blog citing one study), then it would take many years, possibly decades for it to have any significant effect at all. That he only turned vegan very recently is a very strong argument against it having been any factor at all.

It's sad, but sometimes, even very strong and healthy people die suddenly. Strokes, aneurysms, cancer – we know about many risk factors today, but they still can hit anyone out of the blue, no matter how healthy their lifestlye.

I'm neither a vegetarian nor a vegan but let me tell you: Your theory is nonsense.
For example, omega-3 fatty acids are available in abundance in plant oils, such as colza oil.

Totally different, you need to drink a cup of that oil a day for your body to process it in the same way as two fish oil tablets
