Someone please explain this to me.

This guy has been best friends with Jason Mewes for several years. I have read that Kevin didn't start heavily smoking weed until 2008 when he did that god awful movie with Seth Rogan.

I'm just curious how he was around Mewes for all of those years and didn't become a pothead, yet he made one movie with Rogan and now he is. Even more confusing is that Mewes is now fully clean and sober and has been for years.

Just trying to connect the dots here.

Mewes was a hardcore junkie, coke and heroin was his poison. He and Kev were attached at the hip, but it was because Kev was trying his damnedest to help Mewes kick the drugs. He was in a sad state most of the time and I'm sure being around him was the perfect deterrent NOT to do drugs (even weed)

As for Rogan, Kev probably looked at him as someone who on top of the world and had his *beep* together despite being stoned 24/7, so he could make a better case for weed.

Personally wish he never started smoking so hardcore. His movies have been garbage and his humour was a lot better in the pre-stoner early days of Smodcast. Super-quick wit, laidback, and wouldn't laugh at his own jokes all the time.
