Told to Shut Up, I'm Guessing

I'm guessing her network (Showtime) told her to stop posting political things on her Twitter page. She hasn't posted any of that stuff since October 13. Before that, she was bashing Trump on an almost daily basis. Shameless returned with a rather big ratings drop, and ep two's ratings are the lowest they've been since season 1. Since a series is a business, and businesses are about making money, it's not the smartest idea to piss off about half of your potential customers.

She's still slagging off that a-hole, and good for her. Shameless had a lower Season 7 premier because it was released online for the second year in a row and people are taking advantage of that. Episode 2 of Season 7 was up against the Presidential debate and every shows ratings were down. The third episode was solid. The show’s ratings are great, it's in its seventh season and is still either the #1 or #2 rated show on Showtime. The only other dramas to break into the top ten in premium cable ratings right now are; The Walking Dead and Westworld…pretty good company.

No, she's not attacking him anymore. She's retweeting negative comments about him. Before, SHE was posting her own statements. But you're right about the ratings, they did go up last week to 1.4 million. I wonder how many people DVR that show.
