Herrmann, Steiner, Korngold, Friedhofer, Moross, Elmer Berstein, Copland, Prokofiev, and Alfred Newman were all better, but Williams is pretty good. Unfortunately, his music has become tiresome.

THANK YOU. You can add Leonard Bernstein, Jerry Goldsmith and Andre Previn, too. I disagree with the tiresome comment, though.

John should get an award solely for putting infinitely more heart and creativity into the recent "Star Wars" sequels than anyone else working on the films did.
