No one knows. If he's up to it, and they compensate him well enough, I'm sure he'll probably do it. No guarantee though. He's almost 81 years old.

I also hope that he will be do it. No one can write a Star Wars score like Williams. However, if he is not chosen, it will be a chance to see if the person who is chosen can step inside his shoes and can be called his successor. We'll just have to wait and see.

The first thing JJ Abrams will do is ask John if he's up for it because even Giacchino knows he's not up to the challenge.
