Why was Hans Zimmer picked for Man Of Steel?
John Williams's theme for Superman was iconic. Why couldn't he've continued the franchise?

sharebecause it's a new Superman for a new generation. Donner's Superman is long gone. it time for a change and Hans Zimmer is the one to do it. No more grandpa superman
sharealthough Man of Steel looks good, "Grandpa Superman" will always be the best. It's a classic. Besides, Christopher Reeve turned out to be a real Superman.
shareyeah but no one cares about your opinion. grandpa superman sucks
shareWhy should anybody care about your opinion? Grow up.
"Grandpa Superman" is revered by many as a classic. It'll be had for Man of Steel to live up to it, especially with a director as incompetent as Zack Snyder
yeah thats cool but still no one cares what you think about anything. Grandpa superman still sucks and so does your opinion. which is all it is really
shareBecause DC is trying to make it the next "Dark Knight" movie.

I think you mean revered as a classic, not reviled.
Also, there was a total of four of what you refer to as the "Grandpa Superman" movies. Are you referring to the first one alone as a classic, or the first two? (I think everyone would agree that the third and fourth don't qualify.)
