John Williams is such a genius ...

... that he casually tosses off one of cinema's best heroic fanfares into the middle of a film and never uses it again.

I'm referring to the Rebels' victory fanfare at the end of the sail barge assault scene in Return Of The Jedi. It's absolutely fantastic, and any number of big movies would have killed to have used an extended version of that as a main theme. That short piece of incidental music alone is far superior to the main themes of pretty much every event movie of the last 10-15 years.

(Yes, I know it pops up again very briefly when the Death Star pops its clogs at the end of the film, but not in the same way)

Oh yes, that little fanfare is terrific. I have to imagine that John Williams has countless stacks of unused, Oscar-worthy compositions in his archives. The guy just farts out beautiful scores.

He's a genius at swiping other people's work. The guy's a thief.

What examples d'you have in mind?

He has no examples in mind. What a silly boy.

Your post sounds awfully familiar. Oh wait. It's derivative of a lot of other imdb posts from other trolls who do a far better job at trolling than you do, thief.
