Have you heard her sing? She's great!

Last night I went to a dress rehearsal for a concert performance of Les Miserable at the Hollywood Bowl.
I didn't know Melora was going to be there until I saw a poster on my way in. She played Fantine, and was really good. My niece, who's a big fan of The Office, didn't know she was a singer. After the first act, Melora came into the seating area and sat in a box just a few seats away from us.

It was a great way to see the show. There were about 60 people in the audience, mostly friends of the cast, crew or stageworkers. We sat dead center in the Bowl, which can hold about 12,000 people.

There were no curtains or sets; just the performers in costume going through the actions while using minimal props. It was remarkable and next time I have chance to get into a dress rehearsal like this, I'm definitely going.

My sister saw the show and was also pretty impressed. Although she came home and told me "Pam" was playing Fantine, so I have been searching the internet for signs of Jenna Fischer singing. I was glad to figure out that it was "Jan." I guess no one knew she sang.
