Gus - amazing acting, amazing character

Wish there were more people on this board giving props on his role in Breaking Bad. Phenomenally good acting and a really interesting, measured character. Gus is basically the devil incarnate, subtly menacing and totally mysterious....I am gripped to the TV watching Breaking Bad at the moment.wow.

I certainly wouldn't call him the devil quite yet, don't know what his intentions are. But yes, definitely quietly menacing, mysterious, powerful and manipulative. I'd liken him to this shows Benjamin Linus (assuming you're a LOST fan and get the reference)....

he definitely belongs to the family of slick, ultra-cool, determinate criminal characters. great acting in breaking bad series.

I fully agree, what a remarkable character. Such a refined man.

Agreed. this guy is incredible and "Gus" rules.

He is great and his character is a total badass on Breaking Bad. He laughed when he heard the guy get machine gunned

I think now would be a good time to call him the devil.

I loved Lost and I loved Michael Emerson as Benjamin Linus, but Gustavo Fring is a much more intriguing character to me. Ben was more interesting in the beginning, but as time went on we found out that he was less and less important in the grand scheme of things. Gus's history and his character (I also am pretty sure he was homosexual) were far more interesting to me.

Giancarlo Esposito was incredible.
