Christie Brinkley shows what it takes to stay beautiful

Believe it or not, I'm going to be non-judgmental, well, maybe supportive of Christie Brinkley.

Christie Brinkley effectively demonstrates what it takes to stay beautiful at age 58.
Essentially it takes:

1) Hereditary genes.
Christie Brinkley was born beautiful, with the beautiful face, shapely figure, long legs, and model height of 5'9". There's nothing you can do about genes. You see some girls at age 16 and you just know they will never mature into beautiful swans, too short, dumpy, plain bland face; sad, but true. If every person had a say in their genetic makeup, we'd all look like a youthful Christie Brinkley or youthful George Clooney.

2) Serious commitment to lots of hard work, exercise, financial investment, and some highly skilled cosmetic work.
Christie Brinkley shows that, assuming you had the right foundation from the right genetic endowment, you can prolong your good looks only if you're willing to do all that serious hard work as she has done. Nothing gets easy later in life.

3) Good make-up skills. Even with all her accomplishments, Christie Brinkley must still rely on highly skilled application of cosmetics to show a glamorous face as she does in CHICAGO today. This is not a dig against her. Even actresses in their late 20s and 30s have to use skilled makeup to look glamorous on film. The National Enquirer and The Globe are fond of showing well-known actresses and starlets walking around Los Angeles without makeup. Some of those women, you'd actually walk pass without recognizing them. It's in the glamour look.

You just don't get it, do you? What are you even doing here?

You're right, but hen again she's had a life time depending on her beauty for her success. Keeping herself beuitiful was basically her job compared to others who have lesser goals. Millions of dollars can be one heck of a motivator. Like some comedian said about Demi Moore, "She's rich enough to be able to hire someone to follow her around to slap her hand any time she reached for a treat"
