Annoying

I thought this guy was awesome in trainspotting and alright in the acid house kinda but I've recently seen the rundown and around the world in 80 days and he's somehow managed to be the worst thing in both of them. That's some feat considering they're hardly classic films. It's his accents and the way he over acts I just wanted to beat the *beep* out of him every time he was onscreen in those films. I don't not like him but he should take parts which showcase his talent which he clearly has, not over act in *beep*

The only thing i've seen him in has been "Naked" (1993), and his character Archie was a foul mouthed little punk...I would like to see him in Trainspotting and anything else, though.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt after becoming smitten with Rhys Ifans years after being disgusted by him in "Notting Hill", lol.

Can't be loved by everyone.
I appreciate his acting very much, I think he's hilarious and also very sexy. And, after all, there has to be someone to play the weird ones. He does it well, IMO

You're very evangelical in your defense of this fellow who is rich and you are not. So "his" means "he's"?

p.s. why can't you accept that not everyone has to like this fellow.
p.p.s. believe me, he doesn't get parts because he's (or is it his?) handsome. It's because he looks freakish.
