3 Days of the Condor

I actually think the film is pretty routine for most of its length, although it starts well. There's quite a lot of padding - Faye Dunaway could have been left out and the film would have lost little.

But Max von Sydow is superb in his scenes and makes it worth watching. He's oddly sympathetic for a cold-blooded assassin.
