Remember when she started calling herself just "Ming-Na"


Without the "Wen"? Like she was Madonna or Cher or something. How delusional.

Didn't really matter to me. It was two syllables, I thought it was her full name. Like an Asian equivalent of "Jane Smith" or something.



I support the right of free speech. I also support the right to not listen to a lot of it.

Wen was her birth father's surname. She was raised by her stepfather and considered him her father but never adopted his name. When her stepfather died she felt guilty that she never took his name and wondered if it upset him. She was conflicted about this so dropped her biological father's name while she dealt with the grief.
It was not because she was full of herself.
