WHERE IS HIS OSCAR?

Shame on you, Academy!

John Turturro is one of the greatest actors (top 5, definitely) of his generation!

Where the f uck is his Oscar?

If we were British, this guy would be Knighted already!

Not even a goddamn nomination from you people?

Come ON!

Glciktwentyseven, this is noted but your grammar may be disallowed by the IMDB staff. All posters are under scrutiny over their use of foul language. You have done your share in this post. I am not a member of the staff, just an avid user. Please write more but refrain from the "F Bomb" and the "GD" that isn't neccessary to prove your point, I assure you.

It's a slender curtain between theatre and life. Let's lift that curtain, shall we?

Exactly. John Turturro is one of the most underrated actors out there. He is brilliant ~ amazing in "Miller's Crossing" and he (and Sam Jackson) are the reasons to watch "Jungle Fever". And in "Do The Right Thing"? Just forget it -- this guy rules!

I totally agree with this guy being one of the best actors of his generation, but don´t expect the Oscar to award the people who actually deserve it, how any, i think i know where his oscar might be, right next to his dignity. Think he left it at the transformers movie set.

Totally underated. Brilliant.

Right next to all of the screenplays where his character doesn't come off as an *beep*

He`s one of best actors i know for sure, but what does it mean, that he don`t get an Oscar? That only means that he don`t played in expensive movies which must pushed to get the money back. So take a look at Cannes, Venice (who he won prices), Berlin and some others of that kind of awards, `cause those ones pay for ability (also if they get more and more "Hollywood").
