Did he have a falling out with the Coen brothers?

He was in 4 Coen movies in the 90's: Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, The Big Lebowski, and O Brother Where Art Thou (2000). Since then, it's been 16 years and 9 more Coen movies, and no John Turturro. What happened?

And since 2002, Turturro has been in 4 Adam Sandler movies. Hmm...
