Does Jesus really deserve his own spin-off movie?

The Big Lebowski is one of my all-time favourite movies, but I mean, eight-year-olds dude...

I think with the right script and direction it could work, but judging from Turtorro's track record of both I'm worried. Maybe something like a short would be better. Honestly I would rather The Big Lebowski not have any continuation, but fingers crossed right? ...right?

Oh, for sure.

I'm interested, but without the Coen Brothers' involvement I'm not holding my breath as to how great it will be. Plus, a pederast can make for an amusing side character, as Turturro's Jesus certainly did, but I'm not sure how easy it will be to spend a whole film in the company of such a character, especially when he's being played for laughs.

As mentioned depending on the script this could be funny. Just read that Jeff Bridges would be willing to reprise his role as the Dude. If just for cameo roles it would be funny if Bridges and John Goodman could show up at the bowling alley.
