LANA TURNERS CONVERSION

I heard that Lana's personal assistant (Mexican maid) led Lana to convert to Catholicism in her last years ,any truth to that?

Lana had Carmencita since 1955, and most Mexicans are Catholic. I don't know if Carmencita was an influence on Lana, who had taken quite an interest in theology and Metaphysics in the last 10 or so few year of her life. Though it comes to mind that even though Lana was seeing in Sam Sebastian, Spain, at a church making the sign of the cross she was not Catholic.

in Cheryl Crane's 2008 book "Lana : The Memories , the Myths, The Movies " she states that Lana was a baptized Catholic and always considered herself a member of the Catholic Church . she also stated that in the last 25 years of her life her mother was at peace with herself and had no regrets

Here is part 1 of Lana's last interview. She talks about her spiritual awaking and it seems like she had a spiritual experience that was much more profound than just converting to Catholicism. Check it out this is really interesting!
