I wish someone would replace the black and white pic of La Lana on this site with a color pic perhaps of Lana from Imitation of Life, or Portrait in Black. The producer of those films Ross Hunter gave a great quip saying photographing Lana in black and white is like serving champagne in a dixie cup

shareAs much as I appreciate Lana in "Imitation" and "Portrait in Black" she was already mature, and when we think of Lana, I think we mostly recall her ravishing, youthful black and white glamor. (Tho I think she is a knockout in color in "Rains of Rancipur" and "The Prodigal." Also "Three Musketeers.")
I think her IMDB pic is good--though it could be better. There are more lovely black and white portraits to choose from. Garland has a good youthfully glam shot, but Taylor and Monroe's are quite average.
