Lana with dark wig and Richard Anderson

On TCM I watched a few times a short clip where Lana Turner (with black hair) and a group of young men (Richard Anderson being one of them) sing and dance. I guess it was recorded either in the early sixties or late fifties.

When I tried in "advanced search" to find it in "collaborations and overlaps", two movies were listed, but it's neither of them.

Who knows for which show this has been recorded?

I hope that some LT expert will read this. I really would like to find out from which show (or movie) this dancing and singing scene with Richard Anderson, Steve Forrest and 4 or 5 other actors who are singing and dancing (Lana doesn't really sing)might be.
It's on TCM every once in a while.
I checked out "It's my Line", but that didn't fit either :(.

I was able to find it out. It;s called "Lana Turner: A Great lady has an Interview" (1954).
Too bad that she wears a black wig in this scene. Blond is definitely her color, she doesn't look nearly as beautiful with dark hair.
Why did the director talk her into that wig?

reply

Lana naturally had Auburn colored hair. It wasn't nearly as flattering as the bleached blonde look that people recognize her for. She is one of the few women who truly looked hotter as a blonde than anything else.

I too saw her wear a dark wig in the early 60's and it wasn't even becoming on her. In fact I wouldn't have given her a second look if I had seen her like that without knowing who she was.

That was her own brunette hair in that TV show. Lana went back to her natural colour in 1954, and starred in two film that year as a brunette, The Flame and the Flesh and Betrayed.

I think she looked stunning with dark hair in the first scenes of "slightly dangerous"
I hated when she was transformed into a blond In the later scenes.
