Sad that Lana died without a love

Why do our Divas die without true love?

Makes me sick to think of them being used. They deserved the best!

Yes but not at the end. She was used by most of her husbands.

Lana wasn't a "Diva", she was an actress. A diva is a female singer of great repute.

I think it's pretty ironic. Many of these women who had more lovers and
husbands than they knew what to do with, wound up ALONE. While their
plain, every day fans only got the boy next door, they at least had
husbands, memories and grandchildren to grow old with. However, Lana,
Ava, Veronica Lake and countless others, died lonely old ladies. Looks
like La Liz Taylor will follow suit.

Lol! She was married EIGHT TIMES...Do you honetly believe she intended to
die alone at 75?? I don't think so.

In her later years, Lana seemed to have male companions like Taylor Pero, her manager, in the 1970's and Eric Root, her hairdresser, in the 1980's. After Lana became ill, her daughter kept her to herself, keeping Eric Root and others away until Lana died in 1994. According to Eric Root, someone in Lana's tight circle told him that one day, Lana said that she missed her "brother", meaning him.
