Does anyone agree?

Does anyone agree that Lana Turner was even more beautiful during her middle years than throughout the first half of her movie career?

Sure, she was always adorable - her figure was already voluptuous by the end of the 1930s, and she possessed a very cute, almost baby-like face.

However, from 1955 onwards, beginning at the age of 34, Lana started to look downright sexy - incredibly seductive in appearance and manner. In my personal opinion, Ms. Turner hit her peak in her 40s, during the 1960s, as demonstrated in films such as PORTRAIT IN BLACK, BACHELOR IN PARADISE, WHO'S GOT THE ACTION?, LOVE HAS MANY FACES, and MADAME X.

I mean, just look at Lana in these photographs - she simply oozes sex during this era (as what'd be commonly known today as a MILF):

The first and third pics, she looks sexy. to me, that doesn't always come across in film though, around that time. I prefer her earlier in her career, early 40s to mid 1950s. She looks especially great in Slightly Dangerous. I love Lana, one of my favorites, but I notice a big difference between how she photographs in black and white as opposed to color - in fact that's exactly how it's divided, among the pics you posted, the first and third are B&W.

I just watched Latin a Lovers again yesterday, and she looks great, but the film is in color, and I wouldn't say she looks her best at all. I was surprised to find out she made LL immediately after the Bad and the Beautiful, in which she looks AMAZING! But, again, TBATB is black and white... If I didn't know better I'd swear she's much older in LL. But these are all a bit earlier than the Lana you prefer. By about a decade.

I do like the way she looks in Imitation of Life, though, and Madame X, both Color, and closer to when you're talking about.
