But he is a great actor and was a joy to watch in The Larry Sanders Show. I hope he has the drinking thing under control and is a lot happier.

I have to say, I am taken back by Rip's little incidents, in the past few years, I mean there's Mel, and then there is Rip, wow.
Rip is honestly a fine character actor, was a terrific looker, and had a considerable amount of respect amoungst his fellow actors. He's always had a weakness for drink but these past few incidents are more than just too much drink, it is too weird, and sad.
