A story goes that Dennis Hopper came at him with a blade and Torn took it off him and kicked his ass. Can anyone confirm this legend?
shareApparently Hopper pulled a knife on him in a restaurant in the lead up to Easy Rider production. They scuffled and Torn wanted to go on with it in the parking lot but Hopper didnt show. Torn pulled out of the movie replaced by Nicholson or was fired and did Maidstone which is the subject of his infamous onset hammer fight with Norman Mailer found on youtube.
