If this guy is still acting or did he retire? I enjoyed his work growing up.

He did a few stuff here and there but I don't think he's coming back.

He pops up on Tim Allen's new show Last Man Standing and directs a few episodes as well.

He definitely has not retired. Just keeping out of the spotlight. He is more into directing nowadays and currently working on a pilot with his former TV brother, Zachery Ty Bryan. And according to Zachery on his Twitter page, said he will post into about the pilot "soon" and I'm sure Jonathan will direct more Last Man Standing episodes.

I think we will see him acting again sometime in the future, when he is ready. Tim Allen said in an interview that Jonathan has become quite timid and shy.
