Rufus's eye is corrected?

Folks:

Watched Tristan and Isolde last week, and was startled to notice that Rufus Sewell no longer has the eye which cants off in one direction. (Well, he still has the eye; it's just straightened out, I mean.)

Normally, I'm distracted because of the eye; this time, I was distracted thinking, "Woohoo! It's GREAT!"

I can't help thinking that had he had it done earlier in his career, then his resume'd be a lot more impressive, but maybe it's not too late. His eyes were always his best feature, even when they were cock-eyed, and now they're just ... oh, i'd better shut up or I might gush or something else stupid.

i'm watching legend of zorro right now and he's definitely fixed that eye. also looks like he's a little more work done, face lift or something. what a shame.

Cool! I hope it's not a case of "too little, too late," though!

I didn't notice that in Tristan and Isolde; perhaps it loosened up? He looked *terrific*, and there was no shame to be had there!

I have a lazy eye. Like, I suspect, RS, it's not noticeable in person but extremely obvious in photos.

I'm struggling to see how it could be "fixed" surgically.

yeah, wtf? look at the second pic from the left in that lineup above. and in his new flick. he looks like a wax willem dafoe. don't get me wrong willem dafoe is *beep* sexy, but rufus looks weird like he got the bryan adams face resurfacing done. his cheeks are all hollow like christian bale in the machinist. at least his eye is still whack, it gives him character.

I don't think he has. Can't imagine he'd go in for that type of thing fpr one minute; not being up his own arse and all.

I saw Dangerous Beauty yesterday and Dark City today, I also have seen The Legend of Zorro this past week, and saw Tristan & Isolde about 2 mos. ago. I must say that he's a great actor -- so much so that you forget he's got something odd about his eye. But I have noticed it in all the movies I've seen -- HIS left eye seems larger than his right and the eyelid does not cover as much -- it seems to bulge out. I haven't noticed that it looks elsewhere than his focus. Pati in Huntington Beach, California

A friend of mine underwent several operations to fix a lazy eye... doctors have been doing it for years, if not decades.
