Say if he managed to find a crevice or cave for shelter ? Or is it just too cold to survive for 10 days ?
Dehydration wouldn't be an issue as snow can be melted. And you can go for weeks without food.
Is there any info on anyone else surviving a similar event in this time frame ?
I wonder how his family will deal with this now it has been too long if he died why can't they find his body?

His body was probably eaten by wild animals, Maybe they will find some clothing or parts to give the family some closure.
It must have been a dream because I thought I read a news story saying he was found alive but looking it up now I see that's not the case. I haven't seen many of Sands' movies but had been following the story. Dreams can be strange.
