Could play Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars Episodes 7-9

I was watching The Green Lantern, and almost immediately began wondering who did the voice of Tomar-Re, as I found it kind of similar to Alec Guinness from the original Star Wars movies.

After discovering that it was the great Geoffrey Rush, and noticing that he also bares a slight physical resemblance to Guinness, I would love to see Rush play the spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi in a Star Wars: Episode VII, if they ever get around to making one.

I got so confused reading your post - I'm not familiar with Star Wars and all I could think of was the small green creature, which I eventually worked out was Yoda (you may call me a Klutz!). I had to google Alec Guiness as I couldn't put a face to him, then recognised him as Professor Marcus from The Ladykillers. I se what you mean Geoffrey has some physical resemblance to him.

I can't comment on your Star Wars idea, but Geoffrey has a hell of knack for playing anything, so why not!
