Not as impressed with Elizabeth - not a lot of screen time... Not worth a supporting nomination, whereas for other roles he was robbed! But Sellers! You've got a strong point, there! Glad he made the list cause I might even put him above Neilsky! I adore Neil as a director, but the influence on his acting isn't palpable to me... Their collaboration is probably more an exercise in interpretation/translation of text.

I'll shut up now.

I'm soooo bad at "Directors".
I watch a movie and like or dislike it.
I just watch the acting, and the storyline etc.
I must admit I'm just bad at knowing all the technical stuff and directing producing etc.
My favorite movie is and always will be (yes POTC too LOL) Swimming Upstream.
If that's due to directing..not sure.
I love the story, the honest humanity, the acting of everyone involved but esp. Geoff and Judy.
I just wish I could see a play by Geoff sometimes :(
