I really hope he returns as Barbossa in Pirates 5 (2015)!!!

If they are going to make P5 then I am down for GR as Barbossa comming back. That would make it more interesting to me.

They are planning on doing 3 more movies if I remember correctly. Johnny depp apparently don't say no because of the millions of dollars he was offered

I'm hoping for more GR in the next one, should it happen. It felt like he got a bit side-lined in Pirates 4.

He will definitely be back ! GR is looking forward to act alongside Johnny Depp. "Parts 5 and 6 are currently at the draft stage" (Scotsman.com, 7th May 2013, interview).

As I indicated at the end of my posting: online-edition of The Scotsman. This British newspaper published an interview with Geoffrey Rush because The Eye of the Storm premiered there.
