Her obnoxious appearance reminded me of why she is known as a bit of a ow.
While talking about the Avengers she was saying how she earned less than the camera man at one stage as if the job of the camera operator should be a minimum wage job. Believe me the crew work very hard on shoots and deserve more than the actors, who only have to learn bloody scripts. Her attitude was so insulting to hard working people behind the scenes in the industry.
I had a different take on what she said. She was the leading lady of a hit tv series and was being paid less than a member of the production crew. She wasn't belitting them. Rather she was taking aim at the producers and the minimal wage she was earning at the time.
Can you imagine that happening today to any leading lady on a popular series?. Of course not. With all due respect to the harding work people behind the scenes, they are not the reason why the public tune into a show. It's the people in front of the camera. Like it or not, they are the star attraction so not surprisingly they should be paid top dollar.

You can't go back in time but when you consider what stars get paid today you can understand why older actors feel unhappy.
Look at how much people on BIG BANG THEORY get paid.
Did she leave the AVENGERS to make OHMSS? she was only in a couple of big films after the AVENGERS,OHMSS and THE ASSASINATION BUREAU,I wonder if she expected more big parts?
She expected to make her mark on the stage, not film, which she did.
