I was reading this in her biography in IMDB

Personal Quotes

I wake up every morning feeling lucky - which is driven by fear, no doubt, since I know it could all go away

[speaking in 2003 about her marriage to Liam Neeson] I was told our marriage would be cursed. I thought, 'Don't let this be true'. I've thought about it since, too. I try to put it out of my mind. It was an opinion given straight to my face by someone I trusted. 'You will never be happy', he said. 'Your marriage will end in disaster'.

I don´t believe in prophecies, divination and all that nonsense, however, how unfortunate that these coincidences actually came true, really sad :(

I remember feeling queasy after reading those quotes. They really felt chilling.

I was going to say the same thing. I'm not sure which would be worse - a horrible break up or a death - and don't want to think about it, but I don't think the quote is quite true. Like someone says the death was a disaster not the marriage.

reply

Well they say marriage is "till death do us part" and so the marriage technically ended with a disaster in her tragic death.

With the divorce rate as high as it is, and even higher for celebrities, anyone could make a sweeping statement like "your marriage will end in disaster" and claim they were right when something bad happens whether it is divorce or death.

"You'll never be happy" How good we are at picking out only the true bits and ignoring the wrong. She died happy and very much in love. Whoever said that to her, imo was no friend. Every good marriage ends in death. It's just a shame she was young.
