Would be great, that would suits him so well but I'm not sure if the producers will cast him, rumors with bigger names came up a lot, at least Colin Farrell!

Tom Hiddleston "Loki" was also unknown and got the part, but also because the director Branagh knew him and supported him.

JRM needs bigger and better roles. He did a lot of Independent movies, and one bigger movie and one TV-Show (both failed). So I hope he gets better jobs and nobody can do this diabolic characters like JRM.

If I were a producer/director, I'd cast him in my movies. He is a good actor despite all the crap going on in his personal life. He has the ability to make you watch him no matter what he's doing. I watched The Tudors twice because he was so damn good there. If I knew a petition would help to get Hollywood to take a risk on him, I'd start it, but Hollywood is very close-minded to the audience. Look at all the terrible movies that get made, and look how many times the audience seeks original or near original stories and we get the opposite. But Hollywood needs to go out on a limb for him. He is worth it. He isn't the only actor to have issues. Look at Lindsay Lohan; studios are willing to take her back and she's a train wreck.

You said it, someome must give him a chance again, break the silence and bring him back on the list of names of good and great actors.

Just read the Cumberbatch is in contact with Marvel for Dr. Strange and has good cards to get it! Nothing against him but I'm tired to find this name everywhere like no other actors exists. Btw. this opinion has nothing to do with JRM. It's happened often. Cumberbatch everywhere and all the time.

I also think Jonny would make a great Marvel character. All he need is the right role properly publicized & he'd be set. If anyone saw the diversity of roles he's played & truly listened to him speak his talent is obvious.

A good Marvel-character would be great vor him! Cumberbatch got Strange. No comment!

I agree Daydreamerdj22, Hollywood doesn't really care what the public wants. I've seen every film and tv that JRM ever acted in. Some of the most obscure and hard to find such as Children of Huang Shi ( one of his best performances) were not promoted and didn't do well . That is not always the actors fault. JRM is one of the best.
