The government grew under Reagan in part because he was constantly having to compromise with Tip O'Neil when O'Neil was shutting the government down. And, Reagan didn't have control over both houses. Every budget he submitted came back bloated.
I had no problem with Bush Sr. either. He continued on with Reagan's polices which allowed a huge boom in 90's.
Clinton was the one who f(cked it all up. Had they not voted in an obvious scumbag who had no clue as to how to even run a back-woods state, we would be a lot better off. In 1996, Quayle wouldn't have been the nominee, and if he was, the GOP would have deserved to lose.
More importantly, if you don't elect Clinton, then Hillary fades away into nothingness and a completely unqualified radical named 0bama would never be accepted as a viable candidate.
