Something that always bothers me...

I liked perry on friends and in a few movies until i saw him on punk'd. He seemed to be a good sport about it but i cant get past one thing. When the cops bust in, there is a few seconds that show perry putting his fingers in his ears. My thoughts then- Seriously? Man up! A little noise is too much for your delicate little ears?- Now everytime i see him on screen i think of that and it makes me cringe! I know its crazy of me but i cant get past it. Im an awful person. Let the hateful comments begin!

He propably got scared. Maybe covering his ears was an instinctive gesture of self-defence, like he was trying to protect himself from the noise. Nevertheless, he seemed pretty manly to me when he did not use his celebrity status to get a special treatment from the police. He even made humour to the policeman. I actually think that he behaved really bravely.

You're not an awful person, and this comment is not intended to be hateful in any way, but you shouldn't find it weird that men get scared sometimes!

I do that all the time because I suffer from hyperacusis - it's a condition you can develop after recovering from various infectious diseases:

I thought that Matthew had some sort of sensitivity in his ears when he did that. It's definitely not cowardice. Matthew's reaction to the prank was amazing!
