He would have been great as Jimmy(Tarantino's character) in Pulp Fiction

Many have said that QT cannot act, and belongs *behind* the camera. I myself am on the fence as to how bad I feel his acting is.

But that has got me thinking as to who else would have been good as that character. Then I thought of Joe Pants here. Just imagine him delivering the famous 'dead nigger storage' tirade! :)

I thought QT did fine, but yeah I could definitely see Pants bringing a lot more to the part if he had played it. Good suggestion. Fun to think about his voice/delivery with Jimmy's lines.

I LOVE JOEY PANTS BUT FEEL QT NAILED THAT PART...ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SCENES.

Anyone would have been better than Tarantino in that scene.

reply

Ooh wow yes hed have been absolutely perfect in that scene!, the forth wall is kind of broken when QT shows up

Another cool idea might've been Michael Rapaport as his True Romance character lol

QT is pretty limited as an actor, but that was one part he did all right in. I could see JP in it, too, though.

That would have been excellent.

That's the one blemish in Pulp Fiction, for me anyway, I can't get past Tarantino in his scenes. Mercifully he isn't in it much.

But Pantoliano would have been great.
