Primal Fear and Rounders second. I am not saying they are his best, rather my favorites as the OP stated.

American History X was a great movie. I'm sure his performance had a lot to do with it.

I've gotta go with The Narrator from Fight Club (1999). It's the first movie that introduced me to Ed Norton.

dunno why but i did really enjoy Red Dragon as Will Graham.. maybe because i really enjoyed the movie. meh
