I have a strong suspicion all your points are accurate, but gosh darnnit, i still really enjoy his work. Maybe he is just frustrated that a lot of popular, high-paid so-called actors & filmmakers don't take their craft as seriously as he thinks they should. I don't want to see him in sellout roles, but i do want to see him in bigger, more memorable films.
