Why Does He Think He Is Irish/Native American?

According to his family history he is neither. In fact, he appears to be of mostly English descent.....

He is half Native American. We learned about his family tree a bit on Walker Texas Ranger

agree, on an episode of Walker, he mentioned that he is half Navajo and half American

half cherokee. he's from oklahoma originally.

I think so, yes. Mostly Irish if I recall correctly. He talked about all that in the first chapter of his 1988 book 'The secret of inner strength'

The OP is asking about Norris and not any character he portrayed. As to why he thinks the way that he does who knows.
