How did you know to bump this right after I had him on my mind?

A Team reference texted to me earlier, and then I was making some tea and thought how I like a strong full bodied black tea... then I could just see Mr T leaning in saying "Oh really?"

reply

Gotta hand it to him, he did a lot with the little talent he had. A classic 80's character.

reply

wouldn't say that to his face... even today

reply

He also pities the foo that doesn't eat his cereal.

reply

Interesting fact.

Mr. T invented fools. In the next instant, realising his error, Mr. T invented pity.

I just read some cool trivia. Before Mr. T was famous, Stallone saw him on a TV show as a contestant in a 'tough guy' contest. He made it to the final event which was a boxing match between the last two standing contestants. The host asked Mr. T what he thought of his opponent and he said, "I don't have a problem with him. I just feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for any man that would have to fight me." After he was hired to play Clubber Lang, Stallone had that in mind when wrote the line in the screenplay, "I don't hate Balboa. I pity the fool."

reply

Awesome. Mr. T hails from my neck of the woods.

reply

Mr. T and Ferris Bueller. You lucky bastard.
