Favorite moments on IMDb message boards (Especially this one!) Tee Hee

Oh my, my favs would be the Hedgehog posts.
And, what ever happened to Jesse? I love Catpedal, but it was so funny when he got irritated and called her "cat piddle"! (he called me names, too, which I didn't think were so funny! But I miss him).

Mostly the people. I miss the people.

One really good poet from Australia,
Some friends from the Netherlands that came to visit my home state
Others who attended book signings with me
One from Germany
Does anyone know what happened to Arien Karthieser? (sp?)
Just people who I never would have known, had it not been for IMDb.

Please share your good memories here, we may not get another chance!

His name was Jussie. And yeah the good old days on this board were fun. There was the Old Hag's club (can't remember the name). They were some total nutters in here too, lol. Don't know what happened to most of the old posters - back when VM still had fans.

I'll be sorry to see the boards go. It was so easy to go from board to board. Not many sites on the net have boards for every movie, tv show and actor on the planet. Used to be fun to watch the latest show or movie and come here to comment, exchange ideas and read comments from other posters.

Alas, no more! 

I was only thinking yesterday what fun it would have been to make a more appropriate Oscars goody bag for Viggo. But no one left here to play those kind of games anymore.

I expect even his aardvark has gone to play in the great veldt in the sky.

Shame the whole thing was ruined by some. People who claimed to be what they were, even dead. Poor Jussie. I suppose, in the end, you have to feel sorry for her.

But on the bright side, what fun it was to wake up and see what fun and games had been perpetrated (in my) overnight. And I do miss those days, though they're long gone. I learned so much as I prepped to discuss all kinds of subjects on A History of Violence board. Still one of Viggo's best films. I know it's extremely unlikely he'll win at the Oscars - but it was still fun to listen to screams of "Viggo!" when he was on the Baftas red carpet. And no, I wasn't there, but I was watching.

Anyways.
And it's c a t p e t a l. No d, thanks.

LOL! The results may be unfathomable, tho. ;)

Yes, shame. :(

Just now ironing one of my favorite blouses...*sigh*

SO good to hear from you, Dear. 

I learned a lot too! Reading "Good" was good. Have you seen Captain Fantastic? Looks interesting...

pm'd you...check it out.

Yup, saw it online. Cute movie but a total fantasy. Mr. M. does full frontal again for what reason no one knows, lol. Can't fathom why he was nominated for an Oscar though unless they wanted to signal how brave he was to do that at his age, !

Been done. Tom Berenger did it in "At Play in the Fields of the Lord", 1991.

So, that wouldn't be it. Did you enjoy seeing Viggo full frontal?

I remember, when asked if he would play opposite Brad Pitt in "Brokeback Mountain", Viggo replied, "Do you think people would pay to see that?"

What would I say to the person/people (trolls) who are responsible for ruining these boards? I would say, "Go way, Troll. You needed everyone and you slowly picked them off. :("

Not really. Nothing to write home about there, lol!!  The word that occurred to me was "awkward" especially as the scene included small children.

Somebody made that up, lol. I doubt anyone ever thought of casting those two for those roles.

I don't think trolls are responsible for shutting down the boards. I believe it's more about money than anything else.
