Just finished watching The Green Mile...

Yea, I know I'm way behind the times. I used to watch it when I was little and didn't understand a thing. So I've decided to download the movie and was very grateful that I had watch it again.

David Morse was great in it. I couldn't stop smiling every time he's in the scene. It's funny because I first watched him in House and thought that his character was such a jerk. And then when I saw him again the first time in The Green Mile, I just thought, "Oh, it's that guy who played the jerk in House," while rolling my eyes. XD

But as the movie finished, I couldn't help but feel a little crush on him. Maybe it's because he's such a tall guy and had such a kind face that I just had to like him. And his character was a compassionate (but tough) guy. How can you not fall for that? Okay, only now I'm interested in David Morse.

Just ranting, huhu....

It's okay. I feel exactly the same way. I even like him as Tritter, though that's just more of an appreciation for cold hard insanity than that warm "awwww" feeling I get when I watch him as Brutal. Whatever role he plays, though, I adore him, I really do.

That would be one plus one plus two plus one, not one plus two plus one plus one.

I would say that The Green Mile is my favorite David Morse movie. If you enjoy "the compassionate tough guy" persona, you'll probably enjoy the Crossing Guard. I've enjoyed his acting ever since St. Elsewhere debuted. A small, but particularly moving part(for me)was his role in Contact. I feel he plays "bad" and "good" equally well, but I prefer the "good".

I felt the same way watching him in The Green Mile; he's such a tall and "big guy" yet he has such a nice, kind face. He was very compassionate and just a great character. I also smiled every time I saw his character in a scene...except for obvious scenes...
