Absolute legend

This guy is one of my favorite actors alongside Jimmy Stewart, Bogie, Jack Nicholson, Cary Grant...
I think his best role naturally was in The Lost Weekend, but he was amazing in Dial M For Murder too and he should be praised more for films like The Big Clock, Alias Nick Beal, and Beau Geste. Shame he didn't film more sessions of Markham ( yes I do know it was just a substitute series that was on TV just one summer).
Let me know if you know some other film in which Milland gave a great performance.

He was a good actor, but, to me, he was blander than hell as a movie star. He had about as much sex appeal
as a used Band Aid. Absolutely no appeal at all, except maybe for his nice "hair" which was a RUG).

What? Bland in Lost Weekend?
Oh well.... to each their own.

This profile pic always makes me smile.
I love his voice, could listen to him all day.
.... imagine if Ray Milland and David Attenborough read you a bedtime story, I'd be flat out in a minute 😁

Agreed. I enjoy watching him in just about anything I have seen him in. Movies or TV. Good guy or bad guy. I like him!
I like the profile picture too! Cute!

I can't really relate to the profile picture because I primarily know him from Dial M For Murder, so that picture doesn't fit at all. Actually, he's the #1 reason why Dial M For Murder is my favorite Hitchcock film. I thought he was absolutely perfect in that role.
