Social Network

Interesting that he's in the film The Social Network but not playing Mark Zuckerberg. He fits that role quite well, in my opinion.

He was once considered for the lead in a Holocaust film that was set to be directed by Stanley Kubrick--but Spielberg beat Kubrick to the punch with "Schindler's List."

Joe's too handsome to play Zuckerberg, Eisenberg lacks just the right amount of charm to play such a cold and calculating person as Zuckerberg is.

The moment in The Social Network where he starts up California Uber Alles and sings along is one of my favorite moments. And a great music cue.

I don't think any young actor in Hollywood can pull off Zuckerberg the way Eisenberg did. But I bet Mazzello could have played Eduardo Saverin just as good as Andrew Garfield.

I watched The Social Network last night ONLY b/c I wanted to see Joe Mazzello. His time on screen probably amounted to four minutes, if that. The movie was a dud! I hope Mazzello gets some leading roles his way; he was outstanding in The Pacific. Not to mention, he grew into a mighty fine hunk.

Joplinwonder: Oh please, the movie was great with or without Joe. I almost didnt recognize him in it! While I was watching Social Network I thought he looked familiar, like the kid in Jurassic Park & a few other fave childhood movies of mine... I was really surprised I was right because he looks SO different! Hopefully he'll get some bigger roles soon.

Ehh, I didn't care for it, was a total snooze fest IMO, but I've also never signed up for facebook so I don't really have that connection to the social networking "scene". I thought the twins (though, I think it's really just one guy) were really funny - that joke about breaking a 400 year old doorknob had me rollin'.

If you haven't seen The Pacific, I highly, highly recommend you check that out; great story and great eye candy :) I just watched Joe in The Wooly Boys on Netflix. It was extremely corny, but kind of cute - worth a watch to see Joe.

Based on your comments about "The Social Network", it's entirely evident that you don't have the cognitive capacity to enjoy movies like that.

The fact that you're watching a movie JUST to see an actor play a role also speaks volumes...
