I've heard in passing, you know the rumor mill, that he's a great guy, but has anyone ever actually met him in person to confirm this?

Just wondering cause I'm a big fan of his work in the Pacific. It'd be a bit of a bummer to find out he were kind of, you know, not nice...

haha yes he's a wonderful person. nice? not so much; but here's the thing: you can be a really cool, fun, and interesting person without being nice. his sense of humor is too acerbic for him to be nice. but he's a great guy.

funny, charming, those are different things than being nice.

I have met him several times. His parents own the dance studio my daughter goes to. He comes every year to help out with the end of the year recital. Always been very friendly. Maybe he is different in a work environment.

The entire cast of TSN seems to absolutely adore him, just watch the DVD Commentary.
