My all-time favorite

It’s a shame that Dean’s IMDB board did not make it here with the transfer.

I was born in 1955, so as a kid I got to see many of his movies, and his TV variety show first run, plus all of his other appearances on talk shows, the comedy roasts etc.

I have to say he was my favorite of the 50s, 60s era. Amazing charisma and charm, and a great touch of comedy. My fave of the crooners too!

I have only seen a handful of his films but I thought he was quite marvellous in Some Came Running and Rio Bravo. A wonderful singer who really could act too.

if you have 45 minutes to spare, a special on his life and career.

When I was a kid I thought he and people like Frank Sinatra were the opposite of cool..But when I grew up I realized they were (and Dean Martin in particular) the very definition.
I've never seen a film of his that he didn't own..he's such a presence. And his songs are a lot of fun.

I always found it sad that he never overcame the loss of his son in his final years.

Dino was the coolest guy in the Rat Pack. My father hated him because my mother wanted to fuck Dean so bad that she squished when she walked. Dino warned Frank that JFK was only using him to get to fuck MM and was never going to make him a senator. He was ‘WAY funnier than that asshat, Jerry Lewis AND he could sing. Cool and Smooth: that was Dino. RIP😢
