Has Tobey kind of gotten himself blacklisted?

I think he's focused on becoming a big time producer. I mean, he might be blackballed by Universal Studios given that he divorced the VP's daughter.

I think he has a reputation for being a bit of a diva. You know, the kind that always has to have a backup milkshake in case the first one melts. Sam Raimi is notorious for not putting up with *beep* so when Tobey tried to pull that *beep* on Spider-man, Sam basically told him, "If you don't start acting like a professional, I'm going to fire you and I'm not going to lie to the press when they ask why." (Supposedly)
Also, he's somewhat known for harassing waitresses in poker tournaments. Things like badgering them by offering them money to bark like a dog.

There is all the drama around Don's Plum. There was a low-budget indie film with minimal script that was mainly improv with the actors.
Tobey Macguire was in it with Leonardo Dicaprio. They did one night of filming all night. The actors came back together a few months later to do another long night of improv filming.
The director/writer/whatever was sued by Tobey Maguire who has fought to keep the film from ever being released. Said director/writer has written a few public essays on the subject insisting that Leonardo Dicaprio is a decent guy being manipulated by Tobey Maguire, and makes him out to be a total dick.

I wouldn't doubt it. The guy's apparently a bit of a psychopath. There's an article by a girl who ran a hollywood poker game, she talks about how Toby would start to get really creepy when he would lose. He once offered her two thousand dollars to climb up on the table and bark like a seal in front of everyone.

This is all obviously rumor, but I've heard he's like a complete and total sociopath. There was some story I remember reading about him completely intentionally humiliating a dealer in some private gambling ring to get his rocks off. I don't remember exactly what it was and I'm sure someone can find it by googling (ain't got time for that atm), but the gist was that he made some like really messed up bet with her in front of everyone that was very degrading to her and then he was like "why won't you do it if you really need money". At first it seemed kind of fun I think, but he started insisting and it got very weird and scary. Again, just a rumor, and again, I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was something really messed up and gross.
