It is no secret that I love Twilight Zone: The Movie but I think along with Vic Morrow and Scatman Crothers, John Lithgow was great. He should've been nominated for Twilight Zone: The Movie instead of Terms of Endearment.

why would it be surprising? hes usually great in whatever he does, extremly versatile. the year before this he played a transvestite in world according to garp, and he can be funny, he can be a psychopath, hes done small movies, voice overs, blockbusters, tv, kids singalongs?? wrote kids books, done broadway, I mean the guy has been around forever and hes STILL working! very talented.
shareHe is indeed a very talented man, but his performance is exceptional in Twilight Zone: The Movie. His performance was sadly overlooked because of the unfortunate accident.
