Simply Terrible

She has one style of delivering her lines, and one "serious" face, shows no emotion, and reads her lines in that single fast, bitchy style. She is not versatile at all, and who in the world ever decided she was good looking.

Hollywood has reached an all time low, peoples standards have fallen.

She reminds me of Demi Moore, another no talent, people really have no clue, go watch Faye Dunaway and then come back here before you post on what makes a good actress.

Why do you guys even dignify this with a response? It's obvious the OP is uneducated about acting, or simply trying to get to people who can be gotten. I just watched the incredible Linney in a very little known movie Wild Iris, next to Gena Rowlands, and she nails another memorable character to her already impressive resume! She's a genius and a treasure that's for sure. Congrats on winning another Emmy, well deserved!

WOW, you people have seriously low standards, have you seen Faye Dunaway in Network or Mommy Dearest, that is acting. Emmy awards? Are you kidding me? You must be complete sheep to watch anything on network television these days, it's depressing to hear that people have sunk so low to the level that they eat up that crap, YOU don't know what acting is, PERIOD

reply

Oh pleasr...you don't know 2hat the hell you're talking about.

Faye Dunaway's a GOOD actress, and was SUPERB in "Network". But Laura Linney is superb in EVERYTHING she does. What the hell are you talking about??? And she has played happy, sad, devastated, terrigied, ehacked out/emotionally burnt, in love, and s thousandbother rmotions What the HELL are you talking about????

reply

She doesn't play any of those, she never changes character, she's fake, she's not in the same league as Dunaway. An excellent actor makes you forget you're watching a movie, remember that and you might learn something, and stop cursing please, it's simply low.

Well, we agree on one thing: she and Dunaway are definitively not in the same league! Where has Faye been after a handful of good performances in....wait the 70's? She came in, shot to fame with Bonnie and Clyde, Network and maybe 3 Days of the Condor (Mommie Dearest should not be in that category since everyone, even the actress herself, has said that that movie and 'performance' killed her caree. Oh yes, she did play a small part in Gia for which she won an Emmy but we dont count that, do we, since you laugh at Emmy winners. Idiot
