He seems to have aged a lot in the last few years

I watched the first couple episodes of Episodes and he looks so much younger. Maybe it's just the weight gain and the shorter hair, but he looks 10 years younger than he does now in the first ep.

Its definitely the weight gain. I actually noticed this In like the 5th episode in season 3. Thats why they had an episode of them talking about his weight gain. But I agree with you. He did look like they way he did in his joey days. Now, he still looks good, its just the weight making him look older

The only difference I see is the hair, but he looks great. I didn't think he was particularly attractive on Friends, but he looks better and better every year.

I have to agree, the first season of Episodes I thought he looked hotter then ever, the grey hair suits him and is gorgeous! But this recent season he does older, I still think he looks good but definitely older then s1 - and yeah I think it's the shorter hair and a little weight gain, still love Matt though! Never found Joey hot in Friends and it annoyed me how he was always the hot one of the guys (I'd prefer cute Chandler) but in Episodes with the grey hair he looks goooood!

Actually the weight reference had nothing to do with weight gain during season 3. It was in reference to a pain in the ass photog that took pictures of him during his time away from the media and television.

I just saw him in a promo for his new show and that was the first thing I thought; he's aged!

I knew he'd greyed, but he's gone totally old man now.
